Happy Burns Night 2024! Let us raise our glasses and come together, joining hands, to celebrate this special occasion.
Burns Night is held on the 25th of January, in honour of the renowned Scottish poet, Robert Burns. It is a time to pay tribute to his life and works, as well as to embrace Scottish culture and heritage.
One of the highlights of Burns Night is the recitation of Burns' poetry, including his famous works such as "Auld Lang Syne". This traditional song is often sung at the stroke of midnight, marking the transition into the new year. Its heartfelt lyrics and timeless melody evoke a sense of nostalgia and camaraderie, bringing people together in a joyous celebration of friendship and shared memories.
In that spirit, raise and dram and enjoy our version!
