At 11am on Sunday 10th and Monday 11th November, where safe to do so, your driver may stop their vehicle to observe the national two minutes' silence.

In recognition of our armed forces, we're offering free national travel on Remembrance Sunday 10th November and Armistice Day 11th November 2024 for all serving military, veterans, and cadets in uniform, or those with a military ID and veterans wearing medals/badges.

This year’s Remembrance Parade and Service will be taking place tomorrow (Sunday 10th November).

The Parade will commence at Kings Quay / Southern Quay at approximately 10.40am. The Service will commence on Berry Head Road at 10.58am. After the service, the parade will march to Fore Street for the salute.

Hard copies of the Order of Service will be available on the day, and digital copies are available on the Town Council’s website ⬇

❗️Advanced Warning - Road Closure ❗️
Berry Head Road (between Breakwater car park entrance and mini roundabout) will be closed between 10am and 12pm for the Parade and Service.

If anyone has wreaths they wish to be laid at sea, please leave them in front of the Lifeboat Station. The Fishermen’s Mission Area Officer will be conducting the service at sea on the lifeboat after the service at Berry Head Memorial.

We kindly ask that any floral tributes offered be free of plastic wrapping, ribbons, or non-biodegradable materials. If possible, please consider using biodegradable materials, such as natural twine or compostable wrapping, or simply offering the flowers as they are. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated, thank you.

Sarah from A Kick Up The Arts has been in 2 different Brixham schools this week making lanterns!!

Over 300 in 3 days!! :-D

Here's the details of the parade! She still has spaces on the workshops that we're doing in the studio Brixham Lantern Parade - FREE LANTERN MAKING WORKSHOPS AT A KICK UP THE ARTS - OCTOBER & NOVEMBER but not many so book up!

We have spaces this Sunday :-D

We have now officially sold out of tickets for our bonfire night this Saturday! We are sorry if you missed out but we really look forward to welcoming all those that got tickets this weekend!! Please see below some important information about our event!!

⚽ Every person including children MUST HAVE A TICKET!!!
⚽ Gates open at 6pm and shut at 6:45pm
⚽ The Fireworks are scheduled for 7:40pm (slight change)
⚽ Wear appropriate footwear and clothing (it's very muddy)
⚽ No food and drink to be brought on site
⚽ No sparklers are allowed on site under any circumstances
⚽ All staff are volunteers please be respectful
⚽ Please respect boundaries they are there to protect you and keep everyone safe
