THE SMALLEST ELEPHANT EVER!
Happy July! 🐘
July in South Africa is a fantastic time to enjoy a Safari experience....
Amakhala Game Reserve is one of our preferred reserves located in the malaria-free Eastern Cape of South Africa. The Game Reserve offers a wide variety of 4 & 5-star owner-managed experiences and Safari Lodges.
Amakhala Game Reserve boasts 18,000 acres of Big 5 territory and you are highly likely to have excellent sightings of Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Elephant, while the more elusive animals encountered could include the bat-eared fox, hyena or even a leopard.
The guest accommodation offering is a selection of 10 luxury establishments made up of restored Country houses, Safari Lodges and Tented camps located in different areas of the large 18 000 acre Reserve.
They have shared this incredible sighting with us of a newborn baby elephant, that highlights how the family herd joined together to ensure that the new arrival is protected against all odds.

🇧🇼 Botswana
Botswana is revered for its pristine wilderness areas, such as the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, where visitors can experience some of the best game viewing on the continent. The country is also known for its high concentration of elephants and diverse birdlife, making it a paradise for nature lovers.
🇰🇪 Kenya
Kenya is famous for its annual wildebeest migration in the Maasai Mara, where millions of animals cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures. Visitors can also look forward to cultural experiences with the Maasai people and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Known locally as "bootstrap" or "jackass" penguins, these South African beach dwellers have it made. Preferring the warm sand to the cold snow beneath their feet, they've long called Boulders Beach in Simonstown home.
Come see them, where boardwalks get you up close and (respectfully) personal with the penguins!
