We strongly advise to bring cash with you for the onsite vendors, unfortunately the phone signal can be very hit and miss which can make taking card payments difficult💷

Flying visit! It's not often we visit in July when Monks Bridge is booked out so it was a treat to have this last minute visit, even if we couldn't stay in our own cottage. Great to see flowers blooming in the garden which is always evolving. We managed a short walk in glorious sunshine and a much longer walk along the which was beautiful despite the cloud. Not sure we would have made it in full sun though! 🥵

And of course, we managed a couple of meals in our favourite pub .arms and a wander up the hill to see the sun set. 🍻🍷🥘😋🌄

Wish we could have stayed longer! We are booked out now until the end of August but if you fancy a week in September, follow the link in our bio to book.

Great day out for keen gardeners 🌻🌿

Join us on Monday 2nd September for our next Dalemain Garden Day 🌼

The key features of the day will include:

🪴 A celebration of the billowing beds, borders, and plants in the Gardens at Dalemain in late summer/early autumn.
🌻 Garden Walks to look at plants performing in September.
🌼 A look at what the Dalemain Gardeners are doing in September and what they are planning during the autumn to prepare the garden for winter.
🪴 Demonstrations on seasonal plant propagation.
🌻 A short Gardeners Question Time allows attendees to ask their individual garden questions & bring along plants and garden problems to be identified discussed.

Yonder Street Food we’re on! 18th June, Yonder will be here providing wonderful pizzas, having met Sam, this guy loves pizza SO much, they will be amazing! Every Tuesday 5pm - 9 ish. Have a cheeky pint while your pizza cooks. Eat in or take away. Bring it on!

On the 15th & 16th June, Dalemain Mansion & Historic Gardens will play host to the Lake District Mighty Hike 👟

Taking on a full or half marathon, participants will explore the beauty of the Lake District! Taking in breath-taking views towards the top of Gowbarrow Fell and around Ullswater in aid of raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We would like to wish everyone participating the very best of luck! 💚
