NDC Training

NDC Training "Hello, my name is Neil Carter, I am an experienced instructor for Mental Health First Aid England. Would you know what to do? Would you know how to help?

NDC Training is my company which specialises in delivering Mental Health First Aid training. I am a former SSI UK Steel Worker who is trying to use my initiative to help promote the importance of good MENTAL HEALTH. This is through the skills I developed when I first became a Mental Health First Aider, followed by becoming a Mental Health First Aid Instructor back in 2011. I deliver both a 2 day s

tandard MHFA course as well as a 3 hour 'Lite' awareness session. I have experience in going into the workplace to deliver this course, which is an excellent way of promoting a good and healthy working environment. Do you know what you would do if an employee, a loved one or even a stranger showed signs of mental ill health? Would you just walk away and let somebody else deal with it?

We believe mental health lies on a continuum. There are no absolutes with mental health - our position on the scale is always changing. We teach this in our courses to let our delegates know - we all have mental health, no matter where we lie on the continuum.
