THE CRYSTAL WALK , Doha.
On Gewan Island…
Sparkling inset pictures… set into the pavement …made of beautiful coloured crystals 💎💎💎
What were the pictures of ….?
( I’m hearing you ask me 😉)
Well … from underwater scenes, to deserts & camels… to another one for Formula One racing cars … & another of an airport & aeroplanes… basically.. all sorts 😂
Above these …. structures that light up & change colour (very pretty at night ..!)
This is definitely one for “only in Doha !”
This outdoor pedestrian walk had only just opened when I went to visit it last month…
It is planned that there will be a shops, and cafes opening soon …
At night this man-made bizarre phenomenon is lit up… It does have a kind of calming atmosphere… it is also extremely clean & well kept - as is everywhere in Doha. …

Our winter is the best time to visit The Maldives ( so between November and April.) 🏝️🏝️🏝️
There are over 160 islands which are each ‘resorts’ in their own rights, offering different accommodation options & different standards.
Many of these islands are reached by an easy speedboat ride from Male airport……
Here I am, last month on the speedboat transfer after landing into Male Airport …..

At home, I do love the calm of the start of another new day, it’s amazing how much work I can get done before 9am when I am in my office 🌅💻…
But here, I’m just trying to savour the soothing sounds of the water on this beautiful day 🌞
Social media is an odd thing & something I’m not 100% comfortable with ..

Pausing to think about how I am feeling;
Feeling very blessed to be sat here, & wishing that every lovely customer of mine could come here & feel the same peace & tranquility. There are many of my customers names coming into my mind, who I am thinking, ‘my goodness, they’d love this’

My 89-year-old customer has just returned from an amazing holiday spent in Canada…
He travelled to the fabulous ‘Rockies’ and western side of the country, and his highlight was travelling on the majestic and once-in-a-lifetime ‘Rocky Mountaineer’ train from Banff to Vancouver …
From here, he finished off his trip by sampling whale watching over on Vancouver Island…
