It has been a crazy weekend here.

We had a special Instagram guest stay at our cottage.
Their influence has near enough fully booked our cottage for 2024.
As we type this, all we have left this year is one week in April.
A weekend in November and two weeks in December
That is IT!!!

Already we have been taking bookings fo 2025.
2025 could potentially be fully booked soon.

We thought the cottage would do well, but never in our wildest dreams to we think it would be SO popular, and within such a short time generate such a huge following.

Rhayader – the Outdoors Capital of Wales – is a great destination for active and adventure holidays. Make your activity as relaxing or as busy as you want - from a gentle walk through an oak woodland to careering round the largest cycle pump track in the UK. The town is also the home of the Red Kite and has played a pivotal role in the conservation of these spectacular birds.

There is also plenty on offer for anglers, with fishing for game and coarse fish in rivers, lakes and reservoirs. While, if star gazing appeals then look no further - a visit to the nearby Elan Valley and its spectacular dams is a must. The Elan Valley Estate achieved International Dark Sky Park status in 2015.

Welcome to our new page

owling Point ideal for families or groups of friends of up to six, wanting a memorable time together away from hustle and bustle of busy life and work. A true escape to the wilderness, yet close enough to stunning little villages and towns for all amenities.

If all that doesn’t make you want to book right away then how about spending time in the wood fired hot tub bubbling away with a glass of bubbly overlooking fields, trees, and mountains while soaking in the tranquillity of Wales.

The focus for us was to make Howling Point super doggie friendly. Being able to bring your family of dogs with you to enjoy an exquisite break in the safety of a fully fenced (2m) for up to six dogs (we are flexible for more, for those super behaved best friends.).

Consisting of wooded area, garden and lawned areas circa one acre in all, which is secluded and secure, what more could you wish for
