Photographic competition 2024 📷

This year's photographic competition subject is weather/climatic conditions ☀️⛈️🌪️
Entries must be taken while attending a Cumbria Centre rally. And you must be a Cumbria or North Lancs Centre member.

With British summer just around the corner, we're sure there will be plenty of opportunities to get some snaps! 📸

Entries need to be sent to [email protected] by 15th September 2024.
The winning entry / entries will appear on the 2025 Rally Programme front cover.
There will be prizes for both juniors (16 & under) and seniors.

Here's a beautiful sunset photo taken from our Allonby rally last year. It's an amazing venue on the Solway Coast AONB with the Scottish fells across the sea to the West and the Lake District fells to the East.

Northern Region Photographic Competition

Rules
1. Must be a member living in the Northern Region or member of the Northern Region.
2. Photo’s must be 7” x 5”.
3. Pictures have to have been taken over the last 12 months.
4. All photographs must be un-mounted.
5. The subject is an attractive location or local event within the Northern Region.
6. Entries must be submitted by 24th September. (Entries will not be returned unless
accompanied by a suitable SAE.)
7. Entries to be marked on the rear with name, membership number, home town, Centre and
photograph location.
8. Judging will be done at the September Regional Council meeting by all the delegates
present.
9. Winner will be announced at the Regional AGM.

A prize will not be awarded but the winners photograph will be produced on the Northern
Region web site and all the Centres within the Northern Region.
There is a trophy to be held for one year and a small replica shield to keep.

Thankfully the torrential rain 15 minutes before flag eventually stopped and we had a cold but pleasant time celebrating Tony and Julie's 600th rally with cheese and wine. Many thanks!
