Emerging from Doncaster, England, Saints Among Us are truly a force to be reckoned with in the UK’s Alt-Rock scene. Over the past six years, this energetic quintet has been steadily building a reputation for delivering high-octane anthems brimming with raw emotion and unforgettable hooks. Their sound is a bold fusion of searing guitar riffs, pulsating synths, and soaring vocal lines, perfectly brought to life by Maddy Chesman - vocals, Rahmaal Benoit Williams- bass, Tom Kerr - guitar, and brothers Bradley Waggott - guitar and Adam Waggott on drums.

What sets them apart from many bands is their unwavering commitment to authenticity. Deeply rooted in their music is a dedication to mental health advocacy, with lyrics that explore themes of identity, self-worth, and the transformative beauty of imperfection. It’s this emotional depth, coupled with their explosive sound, that makes their music resonate on a profound level.

Momentum is firmly on their side, as a steady stream of well-received singles has solidified their place in the Alt-Rock landscape, while an ambitious touring schedule has brought their electrifying live show to stages across Scotland, the North, and Southern England. Their hard work has paid off, seeing them share stages with some of the UK’s brightest acts, including As December Falls, Black Orchid Empire, BANG BANG ROMEO, Air Drawn Dagger, and Marisa And The Moths.

In a recent interview with guitarist Bradley Waggott, I asked him to tell me more about the single, he told me:

"It captures that massive, energetic sound that we love. Working with Ross of Air Drawn Dagger, we layered textures inspired by Kenya Grace's 'Strangers' with the raw edge of bands like BRING ME THE HORIZON and DREAM STATE, as well as channelling Sleep Token's intensity. It's easily one of our biggest sounds to date."

And that brings me nicely to the featured single - "Hunger."

This track captures the depths of yearning with a perfect blend of emotional vulnerability and sonic intensity. The evocative lyrics, paired with a driving melody and atmospheric instrumentation, create a dynamic journey through longing and self-reflection. With soaring vocals and a chorus that linger in the mind, the track balances intimacy and grandeur effortlessly. In all, this single is a powerful statement, offering listeners a raw and deeply resonant experience that resonates with the masses.

With an ever growing fanbase and an arsenal of potent tracks, Saints Among Us are not just a band to watch—they’re a band poised to take the scene by storm.
