Snap Shot Sunday

I recently sent the lovely Jo and her family on their first ever cruise. As it was their first time cruising, they opted for a 3 night sailing from Southampton to get a feel for the ocean! They sailed aboard the MSC Virtuosa to Rotterdam, Cork and Falmouth.

Jo had this to say -

Daily activities and shows, amazing service with friendly staff and the cleanliness was very good. Snap Shot Sunday

I had clients recently return from a city break in Rome. They stayed at The River Palace Hotel which is my main go to hotel for Rome. I have stayed their myself and loved the location. They had this to stay 'Very comfortable and walking distance to historical centre. Good breakfast with plenty of choice and gluten free options. Excellent shower!'

While taking in some of the usual tourist attractions, they were lucky enough to catch a light and fashion exhibition Palatine Hill and sent me some beautiful pictures!

Africa Day - 25 May 2024

Africa Day is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organization of African Unity on 25 May 1963.

Welcome to my Page

I have had some new followers recently so I wanted to run through a little about what I do. And a reminder for my existing followers.

I have worked in the travel industry for around 26 years so I have plenty of experience behind me! In 2019 I decided to start my own business and with a couple of 'blips' along the way (the less said about 2020 the better!), I now have a wonderful growing business and have built up a very loyal client base.

I treat every enquiry with the utmost care and respect. The ultimate in job satisfaction for me is to find the perfect holiday to match my clients individual requirements and to hear all about it when they return.

I can book all types of holidays from complex 'bucket list' itineraries to simple beach flop and drops. I love planning family holidays, solo holidays, group holidays, couples holidays and everything in between! Some people feel they can't come to me with lower budget enquiries but I will always do my best to find the right holiday for the right price.

I am also there for all my clients throughout the journey. I can be contacted any time of the day to help in emergency situations. Or just to answer simple questions. I can be contacted by WhatsApp/Telephone call or Email. You do not get this type of service from booking online or with a large tour operator. My service is personal and it is in a league of it's own.

In order to grow my business, I rely on referrals and recommendations so I hugely appreciate it when you pass my details along and share my posts.

The Children are Back to School!

Easter flew by this year. I love spending time with my girls and not rushing around with school runs and clubs etc. Having said that it is always hard trying to work around the children in the holidays so I am looking forward to getting stuck back in properly this week.

I have a fair amount of admin to catch up on this week. With lots of departures in May, I need to get everyone checked in for their flights and have their tickets ready.

I will still be working on existing enquiries but any new enquiries will need to take a back seat until the end of the week.

Snap Shot Sunday

I booked a very special holiday for one of my clients taking her son to Disneyland Paris. They wanted to spend a couple of days in Paris first so I booked them 2 nights in the centre of Paris and 4 Nights at the Santa Fe in Disney. All flights and transfers were included for them so it all ran smoothly.

Orsolya had this to say 'Thanks for arranging all this for us, everything ran smoothly. Although I need a holiday to get over Disneyland 🤪😅🤣. It was a magical holiday, we will remember this forever and you have been a huge part of it, so a big thank you🤗🤩'

Disneyland Paris is a wonderful holiday on it's own but I can also arrange to multicentre it for you as part of a bigger holiday. You could combine with Paris like Orsolya. Or you could incorporate a self drive taking in the rural areas of France. O perhaps get the train down to the South of France for some sunshine!

Race Across the World 2024

I am so excited to see race across the world is back with a new series this week! One of my favourite things to watch on TV and my husband and I are convinced we would win this (if we could find someone to have the children for a couple of months of course!)

Eastern Asia is this year’s route, and the five intrepid duos will battle it out in a breath-taking 15,000 kilometres race across several countries. From northern Japan, they will cross six seas and eight borders, skirting the path of the volcanic ring of fire - the most geologically unstable region on the planet to reach the finish line in Lombok, an idyllic Indonesian island paradise.

I will be sharing some inspiration to match some of their journeys so if you are inspired by any of the destinations they visit - and would like to visit with a little more time to enjoy then keep watching!
