So my good friend Buckso Dw cajoled me into agreeing to speak at an upcoming networking event that I attend once a month in derby.

Have you got yours? If you’re travelling anywhere in the EU don’t forget to renew your U.K. Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC). It’s not a substitute for travel insurance but could help with medical costs if the worst should happen whilst away.

LUXURY THAILAND... since I am now an experienced paddleboarder (been once!) I have been researching destinations where I can now practice my new found sport. I think I may have found THE place... Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort and Villas. It's a 45 minute speedboat ride from Phuket and well just look it's stunning. Still relatively un-known, with a back to nature vibe, it's the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle, yet close enough to explore the local villages and markets.

This time, we took home three big awards of the night - Homeworking Agency of the Year (Large), Best Agency to Work For (Large) and Sustainability Champion of the Year (Large) - which is brilliant news!

A lazy day meandering the streets of pretty little St. Emilion. Lunch amongst the vineyards of a local chateau, followed by wine tasting at Chateau Chauvin. Our super tour guide Isabelle was a joy, giving us a private tour of the region.

This weekend I will be mostly eating cheese and quaffing 🍷… whilst taking in the sites which Bordeaux has to offer. Great atmosphere today as the Tour de France 🚴 came through the city.

The hotel I have chosen is quirky and a real find. Albeit I’m not too sure how I feel about the open plan shower in the room 🙈…anyway…tomorrow we’re off to St. Emilion wine tasting…how will I cope!!?
