The report outlines how digitally focused communities have adapted and grown over the past 12 months, in light of the pandemic. The shift to online and some valuable insight into what the future holds for how we meet and gather together.

At Autumn Live one of our core values is relationship – how human connection and the power of shared experience enables positive change. We believe sharing experiences are one of the core things that make us feel connected and make us human.

Many of us have had moments in our lives when we have realised something, been inspired or deeply moved by a shared experience, often face to face but increasingly digitally too – sharing experiences during lockdown life has meant many of us have found new ways to connect and feel connected, and as we emerge many of us are wondering, what will our new shared experiences look like?

The role of NHS R&D in creating a vaccine for Covid19 has been essential; research is the only exit strategy from this pandemic. We were really pleased to be able to work with Olive Communications, last month, to deliver the annual UKRD summit online.

We successfully brought together a community of experts and professionals, smoothly transitioning from a physical event to a virtual one, recorded a heartfelt thank you from CMO Prof Chris Whitty for the NHS community, and sensitively addressed the subject of race with an emotional sharing of experiences from the leadership team.
