Are you passionate about working with parents and toddlers, hard-working, creative, do you have a fun and an engaging personality and are looking for a flexible, challenging, exciting and rewarding career......could you take over the running of Toddler Sense Worcester or Wolverhampton West? Following an interview process, if you are selected as a potential candidate to take over running a franchise, you would need to undertake the Toddler Sense Class Leader Training.

The next available training dates are June and you will have the chance to work alongside our existing Franchisee/class leader to ensure a smooth handover.

On the 28 of February we will then pick one lucky winner for a CPR & Defib Training Home session for their family and friends!

We are passionate about teaching you all life saving skills! Some people have no idea how many Defibs are out there and how easy they are to use!

So here’s your challenge...

Find a Defibrillator and take a picture (or selfie) and then post to our wall using the hashtags and lastly the location/town in which the defibrillator is located. Alternatively you can just post in the comments to this post.

How many children 😢

So many children suffer from burns and scalds every year. But a staggering amount of those are caused by bath water!

Remember, children’s skin is thinner than that of an adults and is more sensitive to heat.

Check bath water and mix well to make sure there are no hidden hot patches!

If a child suffers from a burn/scald cool under cool water for a minimum of 10 minutes (aim for 20 minutes if you can)

Always seek medical advice. 🚑🚑🚑

Learning first aid can help you to feel confident in what to do in an emergency and can really make a difference!

Did you know that when you make yourself a brew ☕ it can stay hot enough to burn a child for over 15 minutes!

Over a 100 children a day in the UK are taken to hospital because of burns!

Cool burns under cool water for a minimum of 10 minutes but aim if you can for 20!

Seek medical advice for all burns to children.

Go to hospital/dial 999 if a burn is bigger than the child's hand, is all the way around a limb, burns to the hands, feet, face or ge***al areas or if the burn is charred, blackened or you are at all unsure!
