🥳We're back and recovered (just about!) I'll do a big photo dump soon but I just wanted to thank My Cruise Maps for these fab items we ordered as wonderful memorabilia from our first Virgin Voyage. You can order any itinerary and have the message on the magnetic door sign personalised. Can't recommend them enough. Each cruise we do will have the itinerary framed and they'll go up in my office! 🥳

🇫🇷We ticked all the boxes in Cannes yesterday🇫🇷

💰💸We walked past the expensive shops and looked at the prices of all the things we'd never buy (€9000 for an LV suitcase!!), we visited the fresh produce market 🍇🥩🍌🍍, ate French bread 🥖 and fed some of it to the biggest seagull 🦅 I've ever seen in my life (I really wanted to pet it 😍) and we went to the beach ⛱️

On returning to the ship, we tried the shrimp that my wonderful friend Kerry told us we MUST try and oh my goodness, they are so good! 🍤🍤

In the evening we ate at Pink Agave which is the Mexican restaurant - no extra charges for speciality dining on Virgin Voyages. The food was AMAZING. The guacamole is the best I've ever had and the chocolate taco dessert is worth a visit alone.

We did the music trivia quiz and soooo nearly won (missed out by a mere 2 points!) 😭 It was great fun though. Then we headed back to the cabin to watch a movie and ordered 'ship eats' which are delivered to your cabin. Popcorn, chocolate pretzels, gummy bears and cakes and drinks.

It's a sea day today so after last night I should probably hit the gym but as always, despite best intentions I'll probably just not.... 🤣

🇫🇷 Yesterday we were in beautiful Marseille 🇫🇷

Virgin put on a free shuttle from the port to the old port area which is the place to be. We had a wander around, visited the cathedral, the fish market and the opera house and stopped for a coffee and people watched for a while 😆

We headed back to the ship mid afternoon and spent some time by the pool and in the hammock on the balcony in the sun 🌞

We've just arrived in Cannes and have our tender booked for 1030am so off to do some more exploring shortly!

⭕️⭕️⭕️We are currently on Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady and she is wonderful!⭕️⭕️⭕️

Yesterday we landed in Barcelona at 9am. Virgin have representatives in Barcelona Airport after baggage claim and you can LEAVE YOUR LUGGAGE WITH THEM AND THEY TAKE IT TO THE SHIP!!! 😱 This is a game changer. It meant we could grab a taxi outside the terminal into the centre and do some exploring before making our way to the port at our embarkation time.

Check-in and embarkation at 1.45pm was a breeze and our cabin was ready for us and luggage arrived shortly after.

'The Galley' (Virgins 'not a buffet, buffet') is lovely and there is so much choice!

We're just arriving into Marseille but here are some pics from yesterday 😍

Key West was beautiful! There are wild chickens EVERYWHERE so I'm aware that a lot of my pics and videos are featuring chickens but I love them! 🤣

We had lunch at Sloppy Joe's in Key West and then the most amazing evening meal in Tuscan Grill back on the ship.

We're just heading to CocoCay, Bahamas and I'm VERY excited!

Thank you ALL so much for your support over the last year (and all of the years before that) and for being the best customers (and friends 🥰) that this Cruise Specialist could ask for.

❤️I honestly can't put into words how much I appreciate every single one of you. You mean the world to me. We've been through so much together over the last few years but we made it out the other side. I couldn't do this without you all being the best cruisers in the industry. ❤️

🎄This isn't cruise related at all but I want to see your advent calendars! What have you or your family members got?🎄

I went with the jam advent calendar again this year! I had it last year and it was fab! So here we are on day 1 with a delicious apricot and banana concoction!
