From the very beginning Pendine Sands has been seen as our most valued resource by playing a key role in the development of our outdoor activity provision.

The beach made famous for its world land speed record attempts has served as the ideal venue for the majority of our water based activities over the years.

Here we take a look back at some fond memories from the late 1980’s with children enjoying a spot of ‘Wave-skiing’ and the use of an interesting mode of transport to get to and from the beach 👀🤦🏻‍♂️😂

1️⃣9️⃣8️⃣5️⃣ ➡️ 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣

This year will mark a very special occasion as we celebrate 40 years in the industry 🎉🥳

From an opportunist idea to a successful business model, Morfa Bay Outdoor Centre (as it was originally known) has come a long way since its establishment in 1985.

On route the journey has presented many challenges such as the Sea Empress Oil Spill (1996) a Foot-and-mouth outbreak (2001) and of course most recently the Covid-19 pandemic (2020).

However in the face of adversity and through some difficult times the company has managed to develop a strong resilience and a greater desire to succeed.

In doing so we have been able to continue to offer our services to schools, youth organisations, sports clubs, and many more other visitors.
We are forever thankful to all of our guests, in particular those who have stuck by us over the years, some of whom have been returning since the early 90s.

With this in mind we look forward to the year ahead and creating more wonderful memories with both our regulars and any new visitors to Morfa Bay Adventure in 2025.
