So spacious for two people, fab for cooking, dining and the BBQ. Love having a laundry facility and fun doing things we wouldn't usually do e.g. badminton. Just like we nurture and look after our log cabins, our site is important to us too! Over the years we have encouraged wildflowers to grow, put up bird boxes, let the hedges mature for wildlife and we've also grown many of our plants from cuttings and seeds. That's why we always smile and are delighted when our guests tell us they've have enjoyed the peace and quiet sitting on their veranda surrounded by nature! 😀
Beach days are here! We really enjoyed our walk on Dunwich beach with our dog recently. An early morning beach walk is a great way to start the day! We were looking through some old photos and discovered this one of the hedges on our site from 2009, fast forward to 2024 and wow how the've grown!
Guests love the privacy they offer and the wildlife love them too! Did you know the hedges often have nesting birds in them and we also see rabbits scampering between them too!
Although we trim them ourselves, the hedges are now so tall that we have to get help from our friendly local farmer and his tractor to cut the tops of them!

We love this time of year and are especially enjoying the roses & honeysuckle outside reception. The wildflowers are starting to appear in our meadow too! We're hoping to see the return of our wonderful bee orchids again this year and are keeping our fingers crossed!
