This morning at the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum , I took a packed room on a whirlwind tour of Coventry’s history—whether they wanted to come along or not! 🤣

A huge shoutout to my unsuspecting volunteers, whose acting skills were… let’s just say, deserving of being sent to Coventry.

I’ll be back next month, so if you missed out (or just enjoy a bit of historical chaos), come see me then!

A chilling walk this evening with one of my bravest little souls... she feared no ghost, no Spooky Jo jumpscare, nor the eerie whispers of the night.

The air is growing warmer, but the wind still howls—almost as if something unseen lingers in the dark. MUAHAHA!

Oh, and Thursday night is bell-ringing night… someone remind Spooky Jo of that next time she wants to book a Thursday night walk when the deafening chimes leave her ears ringing and her voice is lost to the echoes of the night!

A huge thank you to everyone who walked with me tonight—braving the cold and letting me get way too excited about the wall!

Fun fact: The saying "sent to Coventry" is believed to originate from St. John the Baptist on Spon Street, where Royalist prisoners were supposedly ostracised by the Parliamentarian-supporting locals during the English Civil War.

However, there is no evidence to support this location as the sayings beginning. And by ostracised, I mean really not treated well—think rotten cabbages, wee, and even dead cats being thrown at them!.

This prevents the group from waiting for you.

If you were the only ones booked, it saves me an unnecessary trip into the city.

It allows me to reallocate your spot to another date.
