Flat 2, First Floor, Bootham Crescent:-

I love the way the photographer has highlighted so many of the stunning Victorian features. Some of the stained glass had to be replaced and our specialists bought us glass from York Minster. I was overwhelmed with happiness and what fabulous provenance!

This beauty went on to Rightmove this morning and my fabulous agent had a viewing and had it let by lunchtime!

Bootham Crescent - first floor flat: My favourite bit (apart from when it’s completed of course!) everything ripped out, new plumbing and boiler in new year, electrics, sound insulation in, extra fire strategy, almost all walls replastered and first fix in the bathroom. We’ve even opened up the fireplace and we’re going to pop something lovely in it. I can’t wait for the new year and more fabulous progress…

A very enjoyable visit to Staithes today. This beautiful coastal village located just a few miles north of Whitby has a variety of lovely shops, including Betsy & Bo a fabulous sweet shop, serving the best coffee and behind, a hidden gem - possibly the best deli I have visited in the last two years! It’s fabulous and if you want variety combined with top end quality, I would suggest a visit!

Today 2 of the 3 leather sofas were delivered, shortly followed by the “root” table. Hollie and Janay have been hoovering the new carpets and tackling the range, Rob’s been building beds and I’ve been unpacking furniture and accessories.
Seapink Cottage, off Flowergate, Whitby. Conveniently situated in the centre of town, just a minute's walk to the swing bridge and less than 5 minutes stroll to the beach, and located in a secluded and peaceful courtyard, our 17th century fishermen's cottage sleeps 8 (6 adults maximum) in 4 double bedrooms, with two shower rooms, a large sitting room and separate dining kitchen, south facing patio and parking permit.
The cottage is currently undergoing some refurbishment works and will be open from early July onwards.

We have some very exciting news. Today we completed on the purchase of our new holiday let: Seapink Cottage. We will be refurbishing this stunning 17th century fisherman’s cottage straight away and following months of planning hope to go live for July. Seapink is a hidden gem in the centre of Whitby less than 5 minutes walk from the beach and 1 minute from the swing bridge. It has 4 double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a stunning sitting room with ingelnook fireplace, large eat in kitchen and gorgeous south facing patio.
