Have you seen our video with useful information on Gap Year Travel. If you want to know why your child should attend our gap year travel safety course before travelling on their gap year, do take a look.

It's only 7 minutes long and gives lots of useful information from our gap year course attendees themselves.

With many travellers preparing for their gap year travel, we help keep your young traveller stay safe, and importantly know what to do if things do go wrong on their gap year.

Our course is for those travelling independently or with a gap year provider. Our fun and interactive course teaches first-aid, safe travel on buses and taxis, accommodation on hostels, diseases, what to pack, and we can also help with route planning too and so much more...

"I travelled to Limuru, Nanyuki and Nairobi in Kenya. I could not have had such a safe and amazing trip without the help of the Objective gap travevl safety course as they gave me necessary health, safety and packing information (including female specific advice which is very important)! They however also filled in some ‘common sense’ points for me which I found very useful as a first-time solo traveller and they helped me to make the most of my trip even at times when I felt out of my comfort zone. I highly recommend this to anyone travelling, really in any capacity, but especially somewhere quite unknown as it will maximise what you get from your trip (and minimise any potential accidents!)!

Our next gap year travel and safety course is virtual on Thursday 1st May 2025. This important course is designed to give the gap year traveller confidence to explore and make the most of their travels. Teaching them how to avoid danger and importantly know what to do should things go wrong.

It also reassures worried, anxious parents that their child has had help to negotiate the challenges that may lie ahead, ultimately, giving them peace of mind.
