Eric’s Fish and Chips in Holt is changing course! Eric’s Pizza will soon be opening on Fish Hill in Holt. This is on the same site as Eric’s Fish and Chips, which has now closed to make way for its sister brand. Eric's pizzas are made with a local 00 flour, fermented slowly for 48 hours and then hand-stretched and spread with the finest San Marzano Italian tomatoes. Toppings include British Mozzarella from UK dairy-herds, hand-made n-Duja and a variety of specialist Italian or carefully sourced ingredients.
The team are aiming for a February 2025 restaurant opening.

Cromer has been named by The Sun as one of the best UK spots for a winter day out. The seaside town was praised for the range of activities on offer even when the sun is not shining. Walks, Cromer Pier and great place to get fish and chips and ice-creams were named as some of the top things to do.
We also love the Cromer Pier Christmas Show, the Deep History Coast, the vibrant town and New Year's Day fireworks. In the summer, the Crab and Lobster Festival and amazing sunsets along with the Cromer Pier summer show, are not to be missed!

It's a great time to go fossil hunting on north Norfolk's Deep History Coast. The scouring tides reveal fossils that have lain undiscovered for millions of years. There are many different types of fossils you can come across, each telling a different story about the creatures that lived here.
And if you download the Deep History Coast app, you can use it to help identify your finds.

The Times and The Sunday Times has named Blakeney in its 'seven of the UK’s loveliest winter beach walks' feature. It says, "This 14-mile walk suits those seeking a wild and exposed shore...from the flood bank from Blakeney Harbour to Cley." The walk takes in whimbrels and thousand-strong flocks of pink-footed geese as well as Britain’s biggest grey seal colony at Blakeney Point.

North Norfolk has been named by The Telegraph as one of the best places for a winter staycation. It cites the appeal of the long, empty golden, beaches invigorating coast-path walks and winter is the time to spot seal pups and masses of migrating birds. And it means spectacular big skies, including dark, clear nights when you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. It's time to make a break for north Norfolk! Here's our favourite things to do in winter in north Norfolk: https://bit.ly/4gjMlyh
