As most of you know, I absolutely love travel. โ๐ข. I would go anywhere at the drop of a hat๐ ....and normally do lol.
My first ever plane journey was to London with our accordian band when I was 10 years old. I remember it being very excitind, even though the plane (in todays standards) wasn't the best.โน
The following year, when I went to Grammar school, I was blessed to be able to travel to 5 countries in europe, with my school. Thats when I smelled coffee โfor the very first time, in Belgium. I didn't like the smell...now I love my coffee.
Fast forward until I was 18 and made my first package holiday trip to Majorca...what a great time we had.
From my son Conor was 3 years old, and my son Niall 12 months ole, we have taken them to many different countries and made many many memories along the way.
They say 'Travel broadens the mind', well it absolutely does. It allows you to see and integrate with the different cultures and learn things that you would only read in books.
I am all about multiple income streams. I retired from Banking when I was 42 years old. But I will never really retire. I am always finding new things to do.
Well now, I am back again at my beloved travel.
Why?
Because it is not a job to me. I can work it from anywhere in the world at any time of the day or night. At a time that suits me and my other committments.
Because I get to show others how wonderful it is to visit different places, that they may not have even thought about.
Because I get paid to book travel for myself and others, and that's another income stream for me in my 'retirement'.
