Juicy beef and pork meatballs, served in a dill mustard cream, with tart lingonberry sauce. They are delicious! 😍

A little more information on this years entry process and pricing…

This year we are moving our general ballot entries process from January to December to allow you more time for training over the holidays in preparation for the ride.

This means:

1st November 2022 - Pre-entries are available. Links to volunteer entries and 2022 deferrals will be sent out. Special charity entries and overseas entries are open to enter.

1st December 2022 - The 2023 ballot will open for 7 days only and will close on 7th December 2022.

Pricing: After many years of not increasing our entry fee, sadly due to increased operational costs the Fred Whitton Challenge general entry price is increasing this year to £95 + small transaction fee. With the costs of everything going up we have had to do this to protect the charity donations we give at the end of every year to our special charities. We hope you agree that the Wheelbase Fred Whitton Challenge is still good value and a great day out, with two well stocked feed stops, a water station, 300+ marshals and an team of volunteers and cycling enthusiasts dedicated to giving you the best possible day out in the Lakes.

Any deferred entries from 2022, we will honour our 2022 price.
