The fabulous Blickling Hall . Such a stunning house, garden and grounds as well as a lovely 6 mile circular walk coming to the website very soon.
It started out so promisingly! A beautiful, but slightly wet 4 mile walk from Burnham Overy to Holkham. One of my favourite stretches of the Norfolk Coast Path.
A really lovely and varied 6 mile walk, if a like overgrown in places, starting from the wonderful Morston Quay.
Looking for a good walk.
There's a wonderful 4.7 mile circular walk that starts in Cromer, passing the lighthouse on the top of the cliffs, goes over to Overstrand via a disused railway and comes back again along the cliff top. Pop over to the Explore Norfolk UK website and you'll find it there - just add Cromer Lighthouse into the search bar on the website and it will come up. There's even a video showing you the walk!
Don't you just love Cromer beach?
When the tide goes out at Cromer, the beach is fantastic. It is dog friendly if you walk away from the main section of the beach and head towards Overstrand.
And if you take the circular walk from Cromer to Overstrand, you'll come back via the cliff top, and what a view over the sandy beach towards the pier.
You can also hire beach huts which are great on a slightly colder day!
You need to walk onto Cromer Pier to see the view back to the town. It's rather splendid. You can imagine it in Victorian times!
Cromer. Who doesn't love a Cromer Crab? So sweet and succulent - yum!
Needs no words

So enjoyed my time wandering around the Bug Parc and looking at all the exciting exhibits! And yes, they are live!
It really is a fascinating place to visit, even if you think you don't like bugs. I promise that you'll be mesmerised! You can even try a handling experience! This is a really great Norfolk attraction and a fascinating way to learn more about these little critters, for both young and old.
Castle Rising Castle is a fantastic historic gem and definitely worth exploring! It's incredible how intact it still is. Wonderful small passages, arrow slit windows, stone stairways and incredible views over to the Wash.

Ready for guests arriving this afternoon 😎😁
A beautiful view of the beach huts and a glimpse of the sea at Old Hunstanton.
Check the tide times at Wells before you walk out, so you don’t get stranded and have to call the RNLI.
Wells RNLI want to keep you informed of the tide times to help prevent beach goers from being cut off by the tide.
Our beach goes out a long way which is great for walking and enjoying our coastline; however, there is a real danger of being cut off by the incoming tide.
By being aware of the tide times and having the knowledge that you must be back on the main part of the beach where the sand is soft and dry at least 4 hours before high tide, you can help yourself and family remain safe.
If you do find yourself caught out by the tide, or see someone else in danger of being cut off, please call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
Anyone getting married in Norfolk?
So many dog friendly beaches in Norfolk to enjoy, along with pubs and cafes as well. Norfolk is very dog friendly.
The smallest museum on the How Hill Estate just on the edge of Ludham. It was on old eelers cottage on the edge of the River Ant - fascinating to see.
An extraordinary Allan Williams gun turret hidden in the trees on the Bayfield Hall estate. I can only imagine that the trees weren’t there when this was used? Or it was hiding in the trees to catch the enemy unawares as they came stomping over the marshland?
There’s a really lovely walk around here which I will be putting up on the website soon.
Norfolk Broads anyone? You can do any of the following in this part of Norfolk: Boating, sailing, walking or watching wildlife.
Such an unusual bridge. The Chinese bridge on the Blicking Estate.
Lovely place to stay, very relaxing.
Remember here we are very dog friendly and accommodate dogs in our bar areas and in some of our rooms across the range 🐶..
Meet Tilly who has just popped in for one of our homemade dogs treats while the Hoomans enjoy a beverage ..💯❤️🍻
Love it when you look so tall!!!
Amazing sunset - how lucky to be in that location. This is a great holiday accommodation overlooking Hickling Broad.

Fantastic sunset tonight, sat with a cuppa tea and watched the show
This is a really fun way to take a holiday in Norfolk - hiring a retro VW Camper van! Look them up at Retro Campers Norfolk.
This is such a sweet little summer house! It’s at the bottom of the garden hotel and looks right over the dunes onto Old Hunstanton beach.
View from a pill box! Horsey beach.
Holkham is a fantastic place to explore on a Norfolk Coast Path walking holiday. Taking a rest day gives you a chance to explore the area.
Very pretty
