♦️RED ARROWS DISPLAY IN PORTSOY - 6PM, SATURDAY 22ND JUNE 2024♦️

We are delighted to confirm that the world-famous RAF Red Arrows only Scottish public display, will take place at the Glenglassaugh Scottish Traditional Boat Festival on Saturday 22nd June at 6pm.

The Red Arrows will make their first visit to Portsoy, during their very busy diamond anniversary campaign. They will perform a new nine-aircraft show, featuring manoeuvres not seen for a generation.

Visitors are recommended to arrive early, to allow ample time for parking and accessing the festival site.

Deveron FM will be broadcasting LIVE from the festival all weekend, including commentary of the Red Arrows display. Tune in on 105.9 to listen.

⛵️Around 30 traditional boats will drop anchor in Portsoy, alongside a packed programme of live music and dance, Scottish food and drink and age-old crafts.

🚗 PARKING is located on the west side of Portsoy and will be clearly signposted from both sides of the town. Parking is £5 per car, which includes the use of the shuttle bus service; this can be paid with cash or card. The car park is around 10-15 walk from the festival site.

Free disabled parking is available from the main festival car park which will be signposted. A dedicated shuttle bus will be in service.

📍Arriving from the East: Follow the A98 through Portsoy, car park entrance is located on the left 50 yards after the national speed sign.

📍Arriving from the West: The car park entrance is located on the left after the speed limit sign. Follow the road and turn into the car park on the right, just after the corner.

🎟️ TICKETS: Are discounted when purchased in advance online, and are still available on the festival website www.stbfportsoy.org.

Tickets can be redeemed and purchased from the festival ticket office, located in the Co-op car park located on Seafield Street, or from the pay booths/ticket gates.

We would recommend redeeming tickets at the ticket office, where they will issue you with a wristband for entry. Please have email confirmation ready, eitther on your phone or as a print out. Tickets can also be purchase on the day.

Join us to help look after our marine envionment at Cullen beach for a beach clean. The beach cleans are great for young people undertaking Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme or working towards youth organisation awards, or just looking to give something back and volunteer.

Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.

Meet by steps to beach by golf club house/public toilets 10 minutes before the start time.

We will provide you with a litter picker, rubbish bag and optional gloves but if you have your own please feel free to use your own.
