Day 3
We provide guided tours and help you plan holidays in Cornwall. An exciting new service for people who want to explore the magic and mystery of Cornwall.

Inspired by showing our friends around the beautiful Cornish landscape, our tours will show you the places we love. We do all the driving and navigation. Lunch, tea and coffee are all included, and so are any entrance fees. We even have waterproofs to lend you for the day, just in case!
Day 3
So a night out in Penzance can be very interesting
Day 2 and a night in credit to everyone else for the pics
Day 2
Credit to others for most pics
Yestersay I met up with some of my favourite previous tour guests. We are revisting sites and finding new ones. Our themes are King Arthur (of course), ley lines, wells and fertility.
Day one and
Finally! I loved these books. Unfortunately, no mention of Tintagel in the original book trilogy....
The Winter King is set in the fifth century, long before Britain was united, in a brutal land of warring factions and tribes, where lives were often fleeting. The series follows Arthur Pendragon as he evolves from outcast to legendary warrior and leader.
A special exhibition of Arthurian art is currently taking place in London. The exhibition will move to Falmouth later this year. I loved visiting last week with Karina White . More information William Morris Gallery

A little while before Christmas it snowed and we did a tour. Here are a few photos of the day. Dozmary Pool was frozen and lunch at The Rising Sun in Altarnun was wonderful.
Yesterday's very laid back tour included lunch at the Duchy Nursery. Didn't notice any royalty around though 😄👑
We loved our hard-hats on a visit to Carnglaze Caverns. I think the indoor photos are more flattering🤣.. Our day ended at Stannon circle. No naked man this time 🤔. Lunch at The Rising Sun Altarnun was absolutely delicious. So good I ate it before getting a picture 😆
Another interesting mix today, Charlestown, Restormel Castle, Lostwithiel, St Cuby's Church, Duloe 'circle', Polperro, ferry to Fowey and drive back to St Mawes...
Monday's tour was around The Lizard peninsula. We made it in and out of Halliggye Fogou. It was wonderful to be back visiting places I hadn't seen for sometime. We managed three churches all with connections to Brittany. Mullion church had the best interior, including the small dog door for the farmer's dogs. Gunwalloe church had the best atmosphere. Lunch in Cadgwith Cove was delicious Spanish fish stew.

Happily planning a trip to The Lizard for Monday. Me and the hounds are in King Arthur's in Tintagel. A great place to make plans. I'm really hoping we get to the Gweek Seal Sanctuary as part of the tour.
On Sunday and Monday we did a couple of very peaceful tours exploring the spirit of each place we visited.
A really well written article by Mr Joshua Hammer. I spent a day showing him around last year, introducing him to various people and places. Unfortunately, Cornish Heritage Safaris isn't given any mention or credit. You live and you learn...
The story of Camelot and the Knights of the Round Table has captivated us for a thousand years. But is there any truth behind the tales?
Hello everyone
I'm still doing tours, keeping it low key and keeping it real 😆. Thanks to everyone who has enquired and those who have booked. Yesterday I met some wonderful people from the and we toured Tintagel. Then a late night dog walk. Beautiful but now our land really needs rain.
Out on a King Arthur tour last Wednesday. My companion is writing about the latest Arthurian archaeological discoveries for The Smithsonian magazine. Meanwhile, King Arthur's Halls remain a mystery, but I thought he needed to experience the Moor.
Unfortunately it seems that the dreadful equine welfare problems in Devon and Cornwall still continue. The People for Ponies organisation does not get their information wrong, in my experience. Everyone who visits Devon and Cornwall should be aware of the truth behind the PR. If you know anything send information to PforP, as they have requested. Please share so that this so that the ponies are not forgotten.
I haven't been out here on the Moor for ages. But visited again today in perfect weather with great tour guests, who appreciated getting away from it all. Now to find some ⛽
A big Poldark tour yesterday including King Edwards Mine Museum. Hidden gem is used often for places but I think this is one. Wait for the machine to get going in video! It's converted to air pressure (?) but would have been steam powered and used to haul the ore up from underground.
Great fun today on Bodmin Moor. First time at Trevallick's Farm shop & Tea room - will definitely be back. Milking time on the way home. 🐄🐄🐄
Another tour completed and I unexpectedly found myself in Bude after dropping off an injured bird for collection Born to be Wild.
3rd tour this year! Pouring rain at the Cornwall at War Museum - but lots under cover to keep us entertained. A stop at Camel Valley vineyard was also part of today's itinerary.
I need this as the new header.
Close up of church decorations from today. Meremen!
My first tour today since 2019. We had a great time! More information on booking and COVID precautions etc to follow. Meanwhile, my guests were staying in the new Bodmin Gaol. Very interesting and still a bit spooky.
Today Bossiney, Tintagel turned Mediterranean. People swimming
Hi everyone. I was happy to see a few more people liking the CHS page. Hope to be back doing tours later in June. Meanwhile, these photos are from St Agnes the other day.

Here's Holy Trinity church on Dartmoor, twice ruined by fire. Also known as Buckfastleigh church. The location is a destination for Sherlock Holmes fans. The covered family tomb of Squire Cabell and stories of his evil deeds helped to inspire The Hound of the Baskervilles. The tomb was very plain, but the stories are colourful. On a sunny day not too spooky at all.
Recent adventures on Exmoor and Dartmoor with Michelle. She researching and writing a book. We got wet we got lost and we got burnt. Actually I never get lost - we just have adventures!
We just made it into St Ives in time to catch Hepworth museum and sculpture garden yesterday. Always a treat every time.
Another day out on The Lizard, where it's starting to feel like home. Cadgwith Cove Inn for lunch and what a pretty village.
I just met the 'new' owner of Jamaica Inn Allen Jackson. He and his staff have been working hard improving what's on offer there and there are big plans for the future. We had a great meeting discussing me providing tours for them and even discussing the food and the decor. The new kitchen is astonishing. Huge modern and VERY clean. Will be going back one evening soon to try the evening ambiance and Nick will try the beer.
