Local knowledge is key … 😃

We had been recommended a really nice restaurant close to the main square of Sorrento .. it was amazing! Great wine / seafood and atmosphere (and really good value)

Hiked to the site of an ancient Roman villa… the views along the road were great. For those interested in wildlife - watched a close pod of Bottle-nose dolphins and nice views of an Audouin’s gull (not seen one here before)

Long weekend in Italy - Sorrento / Ercolano and hiking in the trails above Positano - Sunshine / some wildlife / great food+drink and some historic sites thrown in .. what more could we need!

Weather warm at times but luckily the Hilton Sorrento Palace has a decent indoor pool.

… Ryanair cancelling our return flight is not great 😌 but just means a bit more time here.

I am often asked what the best airline to fly with is.
Below are the top 5 business class airlines according to Aviation.nation.

My answer is always Singapore Airlines .. but they have limited destinations from the UK.

It is interesting that Turkish Airlines was #7 .. many of my clients have said how good the food and service was in business class.

But agree with many of those listed below and I do not get any complaints about any of these listed.

As for airlines to avoid .. I can run through a few of those in private!

That is how today’s ABTA (Travel Association) report describes the likely trend in 2022.

‘Consumers are now 30% more likely to use a travel professional to book their holidays than they were before the Covid-19 pandemic’

🇺🇸 Tomorrow is a long awaited day for many … Travel to the USA for UK residents is back 🇺🇸
