Does anyone know what this is for? Obviously measuring something. I was turning out an old person's home and found it in with a stamp collecting book. I don't imagine it was to measure stamps. Any ideas greatly received.

I have to laugh at the responses that some support agents give when I point out bugs in their software.
I spotted three bugs in a new video creator & editor that I recently purchased.
I stated in my support ticket that video rendering was painfully slow. They said a new feature was being added ‘soon’ that will remedy this.
The second bug was that, although my voiceover and video clips synced perfectly when I viewed them via the online program, they were way out of sync after I exported them. The reply to this was to go and view a training video.
Finally, the exported videos did not load into Camtasia but just brought an ‘incompatible file’ error each time. I tried several videos from this new program but none worked in Camtasia.
Their reply was that ‘Our program files are 100% compatible with Camtasia so, it must be something to do with your export settings’. The export settings are that you can export in 720, 1080, 2K or 4K, there are no other ‘settings’.
Why don’t these support reps just admit that there is something wrong with their new software and go on to fix them? They blame user-error every time.
I also tried loading their files in Descript video editor and that didn’t work, either so, back to using my previous software because, well, it just works.
