Quite a few have asked about our recent trip to Japan with Azamara Club Cruises.
Some of you have booked already but we thought we would list the current availability of their cruises....see further down.
Cherry Blossom does sell quickly so if interested it is better to book early - Our cruise was SOLD OUT and had been for some fair time.
We chose this cruise line mainly because of the detailed itinerary and seeing more of Japan than some other cruise lines plus the smaller ship feel.
We added flights with Emirates from Manchester to Narita via Dubai. Around a 7hr initial flight with a couple of hours layover then around 10hrs to Narita (coming home the flights were slightly longer). We opted for Business Class all routes and as we booked as soon as flights became available we again got the better pricing.
This also included the private luxury limousine pick-up service to and from Manchester - Private Emirates lounges at Manchester, Dubai and Narita.
We stayed for two nights in Central Tokyo before the cruise at a great hotel and as we were not flying back till late evening we booked a few hours at an Airport hotel with the ability to have a couple of hours sleep and shower etc before flying home.
All of our transfers overseas were private and of an excellent standard.
This was a truly fabulous holiday - once in a lifetime and very enriching...

Well the Booth crown Jewellโs were out - Shoes that Mrs B starts off in but normally ends up with a quick change half way through the evening and a sparkly frock .. Can only mean one thing - Cunard Gala evening as we celebrate our time away on GoCruise & Travels Top Earners conference at sea ..none of which would be possible without the support of our fabulous clients so a huge Thank You from the bottom of our hearts !!.. ๐
Day 2 onboard Queen Victoria starting with morning fizz - Fabulous lunch at The Verandah with full beef burgers .. amazing Pavlova or Apple pie .. time to hit The Midship Bar for some botanical gins .. great time has by all at the โsilent discoโ .. even more fun to then take the earphones off and hear everyone wailing away to the songs !!๐.. Early morning coffee after a delicious late supper steak and ale pie the night before .. now time for a little mid-afternoon nap as tonight it is the glitz of Gala Night and need to buff up my tiara !!..

Nothing nicer than an empty lounge (as most are still on a tour) .. youโve ordered your martini and Sophie is making it for you .. the afternoon tea is on its way and youโve got the lovely Peter to listen to all by yourself.. And Mrs B of course ..

A few have asked about the suite we are in on this river cruise onboard AMASonata - We are in Suite 305 .. an AA grade suite with double balcony (step-out balcony and Juliet)
Plenty room and storage with Apple TV and keyboard .. nice but compact bathroom but ideal for what you need.
We are top deck so there will always be a premium price for this .. with lower cost options the next deck down and the hi-line window only options deck oneโฆ the latter often having SOLO traveller deals with no additional supplement..
Saying that , no matter which deck and cabin you are on/in ..you get access to all the same facilities onboard..
We have had some amazing prices for this river cruise line from which lots of our clients have taken advantage .. and talking to some of them who are with us on this particular cruise .. and having done their first ever river cruise ..they have said they have had an amazing time ..
Alas our voyage ends tomorrow .. itโs been a truly great week and as always we just donโt want to get off .. Will post some more photos later of what we got up to this week .
