North Devon is such a special place. Off the beaten-track, the light is spectacular, no better seen that with the stunning sunsets over the west-facing beaches of Woolacombe, Croyde or Saunton Sands or walking along the South West Coast Path. The air is clean, the pace is slower, you’re never far from either beach & cliffs or spectacular hills & valleys. A perfect combination for some R&R.
We offer a choice of two large, luxury homes for you to stay in North Devon - all with their own character, so you can choose what best fits what you want to do and whom you want to invite to come with you!
Seacombe Cottage, Combe Martin
Sleeps up to 10 (+infants) in 4 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms. We restored two fairly derelict 200+ year-old fisherman’s cottages into ONE large luxury cottage, with open-plan living, wood burning stove, fantastic sheltered hot-tub. Its location is superb, just on the SW Coast Path and 200 yards from the beach. Seacombe is family and pet friendly (2 dogs). There is a sunny raised deck and the the babbling stream that runs alongside the cottage is always in fine voice. The cottage grounds themselves are secure and fenced or gated.
2. Mariners House, Bideford
Sleeps up to 10 in five large bedrooms - Master has romantic SuperKing Four-poster, there are also two Superking bedrooms and a further two twin bedrooms. Spread over 3 floors, there are two bathrooms with seperate showers and a downstairs loo. Stunning dining room for big get togethers, living room with open fireplace, sunny breakfast room, seperate games room with games table and of course, our gorgeous large hot tub, in the secluded back garden. All secure and family and pet friendly. With Bideford and its quayside, restuarants and shops a five minute walk away and Westward Ho! on our doorstep and a short drive, you can do as much or as little as you like.

We have been enjoying holidays and extended family get-togethers together in North Devon since 2013. We were first bitten by the bug when we found and fell in love with SEACOMBE COTTAGE, on the South West Coast Path by Newberry beach in Combe Martin. We then found MARINERS HOUSE in Bideford and thought we would move there. In the end, we have kept Mariners House as a holiday home and we are now happily ensconced in day-to-day life in Barnstaple, a historic town-centre and hub of North Devon - worth a shopping day trip to as well.
When can you come ?
Both Seacombe Cottage & Mariners House are available all year round and are exclusively rented via Holiday Cottages.
Why should we stay with you ?
