If you are heading to the beach this weekend you might want to pop to one of the toy libraries which can be found all around the North Devon coast. Our lovely colourful toy library can be found in the courtyard of the Northam Burrows visitor centre between 10am and 5pm daily until the end of October half term. You can also find toy libraries at Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe, Hele Bay and Combe Martin.

💚 😍 Exciting news! Pine martens are back on Dartmoor 🐾

After a 150 year absence, Devon Wildlife Trust and partners have reintroduced these elusive, forest dwelling creatures to the South West as part of the Two Moors Pine Marten Project.

Since they are so few in numbers, shy by nature, and love the nighttime, you may not spot them – but if you want to know more about the Pine Martens Bounce Back: the Two Moors Pine Marten Project, and their return to Dartmoor’s woodlands, head over to: https://bit.ly/4eNUwSV ✨

The project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to players, this project aims to restore healthy populations of pine martens to the South West of England.

Winkleigh Car Show tomorrow!!!!

We are delighted to say that we are already prepping for the car show!!!

The show will start 12pm-4pm this is for showing of vehicles, showing vehicles must be in and parked by 11:30am. 12pm-7pm we have music and food all day…

The chairities of choice are Pete’s dragons and meningitis research foundation!

We are open to trade stalls/auto jumbles/sale stalls - spaces for this will be limited.

We cannot wait to see familiar faces and new faces at next years show ☺️

We have a fabulous selection of local ales available this Easter, choose from
