Christ Church School's organic garden is just one of 10 secret spaces that will be opening their gates next Sunday, 30 June, from 2-6 pm.

The result of a five-year-long volunteer-run project, the school's thriving garden is tended by the children at a lunchtime club, where they also learn about permaculture, no-dig gardening, responsible water use and the importance of biodiversity. There will be plants for sale and refreshments, including a Pimms Bar run by the PTA.

Pick up a ticket from outside the Tourist Information Centre in Westbury Garden from 11 am-3 pm on Saturday 29 June, and 11 am-4 pm on Sunday 30 June.

Work on the first phase of the play area improvements at Poulton Park starts the week commencing Monday 3 June.

Improvements should take 4 weeks to complete – but this could change with the weather and ground conditions.

The play area will be closed for the duration of the work.

We’re sorry if this causes any disappointment – but it’s the safest and most efficient way for the work to happen.

If you have any questions please get in touch at [email protected]

It's International Trombone Week, which seems like the perfect excuse to celebrate who will be performing at Wiltshire Music Centre on Saturday 1st June. It's going to be one hell of a party - he's played with the likes of Courtney Pine and Maceo Parker. He joins us in June as part of the Bradford on Avon Live Music Festival - don't miss!
