We have had a busy start of the year with Sheila and I being out in Corralejo for around 7 weeks, so lots of maintenance and TLC so the place looks in good shape.

Sheila and I have just spent 8 weeks out in the villa enjoying the weather and thanks to Sheila's effort (she is our DIY Guru), the villa is now in top shape. Additionally. we have replaced the pool cover and added a railing for the steps into the pool (a welcome suggestion from one of our visitors). We have also replaced all our ceiling fans as well as the air-conditioning in the living room.

While 2021 was a quiet year, we have had some guests in the villa and have had a number of new reviews including our first German review. You can read them on the different platforms (Facebook, Vbro, Tripadvisor and Airbnb). We thank our guests for the lovely comments and appreciate any suggestions you have to make the place even better.

We have a busy Spring / Summer season with a number of returning customers (we take them as a great compliment) and a number of new ones. However we have some available times (23/4 - 7/4, 10/6 - 17/6, 21/8 - 30/8) in this period, So if you are free for any of these periods and fancy some time in the sun, contact us directly for best pricing.

Greetings from Sheila and Alex in sunny Villa Bondo. We hope that you and yours have made it safely though the last 15 months.
Sheila and I have been out in the villa for a few weeks, after 6 months away. We had to do some needed maintenance to ensure that the place was up to the specification we want it to be.

Corrolejo looks like itself though it is quiet. A lot of businesses are closed but everyone is hoping for a great opening with the summer vacations. Judging from how busy our villa is over the next 1/2 year they could be right. The only open slots we have are in first few weeks in July, a couple of weeks in late September and December.

Our understanding of the various government requirements is that the Canary Islands is on the approved list of Foreign and Commonwealth Offices of countries that you can travel to (so your travel insurance should work here). Spain is still on the UK Amber list for returning passengers so one still has to isolate and take multiple tests, which are expensive, when returning. Hopefully that will all be adjusted in the coming weeks.

Masks are presently mandatory everywhere outside on the island. You take them off when you sit down to eat and when you settle down on the beach. Again there is talk off the islands moving to a lower level which may ease some of these requirements.
