Last night, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights (or the Aurora Borealis) for the very first time and it was simply incredible.

A few interesting facts about the Aurora Borealis

1) Auroras constantly change shape.

2) You can see them from space.

3) The oldest known record of an aurora dates back to 2600 BC.

4) They don’t look anything like they do in photos! (So be sure to take a camera with you if you’re aurora hunting tonight).

5) The most common aurora colours are red and green.
