⚓️Away Again on a Cruise⚓️

🌟Yesterday, I got invited onto Celebrity Silhouette for a tour around this beautiful ship and a fabulous lunch. 🌟

Celebrity Silhoutte is part of the Solstice series with a maximum occupancy of 2902 guests.

I was very impressed with this cruise ship and particularly loved the covered heated pool area (which is a must when visiting colder ports such as Belfast!) The ship is very welcoming with lots of choices of bars, restaurants and relaxing areas. The buffet was plentiful and of a high quality. The different options of food were exceptional with plenty of space to move around. I got to experience lunch in the elegant dining room and was very impressed with the service and the exceptional food.

One thing I loved about this ship was the space. The Lawn Club, with its real grass is the perfect place to relax. There were plentiful sunbathing and seating areas. Also , I loved the amount of indoor spaces with fantastic sea views.

I was also very lucky to get a peek into "The Retreat" . Retreat guests get access to their own exclusive restaurant, lounge and sundeck. All retreat guests also get perks included such as premium drinks, wi-fi and even their own butler.

Although this ship doesn't have the slides, dodgems or karting for kids it is very family friendly. The kids club starts from age 3 and there is a great teen club with x-boxes, table tennis etc. Adults can leave the kids in the kids club while going ashore. The staff in the kids club are also trained in autism. This cruise ship would be perfect when cruising with the kids, parents and grandparents.

What did you like best about the hotel?

⭐️We absolutely loved how close it was to the beach, plenty of loungers and beautiful pier!

⭐️The hotel is huge! With lots of different areas, include a hammock area under the trees to read a book and chill.

⭐️The food was incredible! 15 restaurants to chose from and we couldn’t fault them, so many different cultures to chose from!

⭐️The secret cenote was something we stumbled upon within the hotel grounds, beautiful.

⭐️Great excursions to do as the location is ideal, it was 45 minutes to playa de carman if you wanted more of a city day and you had the beach and the whole hotel including the hacienda to explore, we were never bored!

👶Travelling with a baby🍼
I have done many trips with all 3 of mine from babies and would like to share some of my best buys and tips to make travelling and holidays as stress free as possible 😊 Baby Ruby is my model ❤️

1. Car seat bag - Can take as extra luggage for baby (2 pieces free) Put Nappies, wipes etc in also to help save space on luggage!

2. Pop up tent SPF50 - very light and compact

3. Snooze shade - darkness and breathable

4. Nuby bottle cooling flask - the BEST invention 🍼 cooled in 2 minutes!!

5. Fan with bendy legs - attaches to pram and cot

6. Silicone fruit feeder - ice cube and a piece of fruit inside 😋 especially if they are teething

7. Baby zen yoyo pram - most airlines allow as hand luggage and you can fit down the aisle! This is the best pram and takes alot of stress away when landing at airport as you can use as soon as you land!

8. Pre order your baby milk and collect at Boots when you get through security! Saves on the weight especially if you want some premades and power. Needs to be done min 1 week before.

9. Bring washing up liquid

10. Try and feed bottle during take off and landing. Hopefully the nap for the rest of flight 💤💤💤💤💤

One of our followers was incredibly lucky to get an invite onto Cunard’s Queen Anne luxury cruise ship yesterday. Queen Anne’s Maiden voyage was on 3rd May 2024. This was her first visit to Belfast and the ship looked spectacular.

With 3,000 passengers, the Queen Anne is a luxury cruise ship which makes guests feel extra special. Cunard is famous for its signature Afternoon Tea and spectacular Gala Evenings.
