Well, that's it for another year!

I've just finished the last of my Christmas orders and so, as far as I'm concerned, Yuletide celebrations can now begin. 🎉🍻

Tomorrow will see us at the 2023 Thornton le Dale Show.

The weather looks very promising so why don't you come over to experience what we feel is one of the nicest of the Yorkshire country shows. Small but perfectly formed.

We'll have our usual range of hand-crafted products for you to buy on the day. We'll also be very happy to take orders for any personalised and bespoke items that you may need for your home or as a gift for a special occasion.

What a fantastic day! The weather was lovely and the show was very well attended.
I met a lot of lovely people who came to visit our stall in the Made in Yorkshire marquee and enquire about our products. Sales were really pleasing along with a good number of enquiries for bespoke and/or personalised items.

We are really looking forward to tomorrow's Driffield Show.

It's back to its usual format of just the single day and this'll be the first time we've experienced that arrangement.

It'll be nice to see the other Made in Yorkshire traders and hope that everyone does well selling their wares and/or taking orders.

This weekend, Yorkshire Made Ltd will have a stall at Langlands Garden Centre, Shiptonthorpe.

It's an Artisan Craft Market and we'll be amongst good company, with a wide range of other stallholders selling their handcrafted wares.

It's not all been stools though...

This beautiful coat rack was commissioned to go in the boot room of one of the area's wonderful historic farmhouses.

Measuring almost 1.2 metres wide, this coat rack will hold many coats, hats and scarves in its time.

The deep, laser engraved detail will never wear off and the oak board will look even better with every year of use.

We make these to order and to your own design or specification. Please get in touch if you'd like one making for you.

April turned out to be a month for stools 🙂

Here are two examples...

A pair that were made for twins Rex and Remy - commissioned by their grandparents for their first birthday. Made, fittingly, out of a single length of hand selected European oak.

These handmade stools will last a lifetime and the knocks and scratches they'll get from years of use will just add to the patina and their character.

The other one was decorated with an engraved image of Noah's Ark at the request of the person who ordered it as a christening gift.

UPDATE...
What a fantastic event the Otley Show is! We had a lovely day and met so many wonderfully friendly folk. It was an early start and a late finish, but well worth the effort.
Thank you to everyone for their purchases, orders and encouraging comments. I'm sure we'll be back next year.

This Saturday we are venturing, for the first time, to the Otley Show - our first event of the year 😊

We are really looking forward to having our stall alongside others within the Made in Yorkshire marquee.

The Otley Show has grown to become one of the most important agricultural shows in the North for livestock and handicraft exhibitors to compete in, including a wide range of competitions for children.

That's it for another year!

Despite again not attending many country shows or Christmas fairs, we have had an incredibly busy few months. We've hardly stopped for a breath since the Driffield Show back in July.

We'd like to thank all of you who have supported us throughout the year with orders and your encouraging and generous feedback.

We also hope those of you who will receive, or have already been gifted, one of our products are fully happy with it.

This Saturday is our last event of the year at the Far Grange Charity Christmas Fair.

We, along with approximately other stallholders, will have a good selection of hand-crafted goods for sale.

It's a short one - just 11am 'til 3pm and it's raising funds for the RNLI.

If you'd like to get your hands on some special gifts, for your family or friends, then it's well worth coming down and having a look.

Our penultimate event of the year.

We will be at this Craft Fair at Burnby Hall, Pocklington on Sunday 21st November.

We'll have a good selection of our hand-crafted products for sale from our stall and will be taking orders for personalised items - all of which would make great Christmas gifts.

Our prices start at just £5, so there really is something to suit all budgets.

There'll be a good number of other stalls all selling handmade products. Come on over if you can.

Thinking of a Christmas gift for the country sportsperson with everything?

We are currently making another batch of these popular coat racks, as the last lot sold out very quickly. Laser engraved detail on solid oak, with three spent shotgun cartridges on which to hang coats, dog leads, cartridge bags, etc.

The pegs are on a glued and wedged hardwood dowel and so are plenty strong enough for the heaviest, wettest, stuffed pocketed wax jacket.

Should three pegs not be enough then please get in touch and let us know how many additional ones you'd need.

These start at just £25 for the three peg version. Additional pegs would be a fiver each.

Yesterday was a lovely day with plenty of sales, a good number of orders and a lot of interest in our bespoke products.

It's a first...

We are really looking forward to next Wednesday and Thursday (21st & 22nd July) as we have a stall at the Driffield Show 😊

We'll be in the Made in Yorkshire marquee and will have a wide selection of handmade wooden products on sale or to order.

I've just personally delivered these two big oak serving boards down to Saracens Rugby Club in that London.

They've been engraved with the logos of two of Sarries main sponsors and were designed to fit exactly on top of hot-plates to give more usable serving space for drinks and food.

The boards were commissioned by Kinetic Workplace Ltd, who have just redesigned and refurbished one of the corporate hospitality boxes at the StoneX stadium.

All looking superb.
