We are really pleased to be sponsoring the Aitchesons Beer Festival at the beautiful St. Augustine's Church in Hedon.

A great event with a fantastic range of beers and ciders - all brewed locally or very close to Hull.

Live music during the event and even bratwurst's to help you through.

Steve and Avril are wonderful people, working so hard to keep the tradition of small, independent breweries alive in very demanding and unforgiving times.

Still plenty of room and beers available to anyone who fancies a beer or two this afternoon and/or evening... even if it's just to honour the patron saint of brewing (St. Augustine himself).

Our new house sign has finally replaced the old, tired one we put up when we first moved to Bewholme. It really wasn't the best advert for us 🤣

Joking aside, this area is a real test of the durability of external wood finishes. We've tried various oils, varnishes, etc. and the only one that has withstood the east coast conditions is a couple or three coats of high quality yacht varnish.

Should you require a house sign, whether fixed to a wall, on a bracket or with a gallows post, then get in touch and I can create you a design to consider, along with a price.

All the detail is deeply laser engraved into the oak's surface, so there's nothing to wear off or peel away.

Well, that's it for another year!

I've just finished the last of my Christmas orders and so, as far as I'm concerned, Yuletide celebrations can now begin. 🎉🍻
