Did you join us in 18th July this year? Oh, what a day it was!

A stunning crowd of lovely folks joined our gorgeous alpacas for an unforgettable trek through the John Muir Country Park, heading straight to the beach.

🏞️🏖️ Laughter filled the air, alpacas strutted their stuff, and everyone left with hearts full of joy (and maybe a little alpaca fluff). 🥰

Our alpacas were absolute stars that day—posing, trekking, and being their cheeky, charming selves.

Our story

John Muir Alpacas is a new family run business, bringing you exciting alpaca walks from our base in a stunning location near to John Muir Country Park and the John Muir Way!

Our fascination with these wonderful animals all began after a chance encounter at Central Park Zoo, in New York. After arriving home, we set about making our dreams of being around alpacas a reality, and bringing our herd to live in the beautiful countryside beside John Muir Country Park, for all to enjoy... and the rest as they say is history!

We’ve recently been lucky enough to receive a Scottish rural development grant for our alpaca project, which will enable us to bring you much more in the coming months. So, watch this space for more fun, for yourself, your friends and family!
