Swanmore Tennis Club is a friendly Tennis Club in the village of Swanmore, Hampshire. With six courts, clubhouse, parking and a practise wall, we have some great facilities for you to enjoy tennis all year round. We also have a vibrant and exciting coaching and competitive programme, with adult and junior teams of all ages & abilities. 📣📣 Announcement for Swanmore Tennis Club Members!

Entries are now open for our Over 60's doubles event, being held on the weekend of 29th and 30th June. Please note, entries will be closing on Sunday 23rd June, so get your skates on and bag yourself a partner!

Anyone who is turning 60 this year is able to enter, even if not yet 60 on the day. This is a Doubles Event only, so whatever your standard of tennis, come along for an enjoyable day. If you don't have a partner, we should be able to arrange one for you .... and if you don't fancy playing or you have not reached that magical age just yet, we would love to see you here on the day supporting your friends and helping us all to celebrate our 50th Anniversary with a BBQ on the Saturday afternoon.

The event will include Mixed, Mens and Ladies Doubles with the runners up of the first round being automatically entered into the Plate Competition. Timings and format will be dependent on numbers and will be sent out nearer the time.

Great tennis to watch today. Our Apsley C team played brilliantly today against Compton & Shawford A, Division 2 but sadly lost out on tie breaks. Well done to all our players!

Another gorgeous day for some tennis matches. Although our Southampton Apsley D team put up a strong fight against Warsash Tennis Club, with multiple championship tie breaks, we didn’t quite get the win today. Thankfully we had a good spread to ease the blow 🍰

Yesterday, our women’s 2nd team in the Masters League put up a good fight against Rowlands Castle for the second match of the season in the Master League division 2. The home match lasted 3.5 hours but sadly we lucked out at 3-1. Well done to Mandy White, Chris Doherty, Jane Crawshaw and Sam Meeson for representing the club. The next match against Ryde Mead Tennis takes place on 22 May on the IOW.
