3 amazing facts you didn't know about Clyro, home to Audrey's cottage:

1. Audrey's cottage is based on hill overlooking Clyro, a tiny village in South Wales (UK), it dates b ack to the early medieval period and has around 800 only inhabitants.

2. "Clyro" is Welsh for "clear water" and the village dates back to early medieval times, Audrey's cottage has a beautiful hilltop spring with its own "clyro" running through the forest at the back of the house!

3. Clyro has historical sites like Clyro Castle and Castle Kinsey, with connections to Methodism founder John Wesley and Francis Kilvert, a local curate and diarist. Audrey's cottage is even referenced in Kilvert's famous diary!
