Ocean Verticals Summer Adventure Camp is in full swing!! The water visibility for Coasteering has been amazing in East Lothian for the past week! We have been out most days exploring the intertidal zone with our wonderful clients. We have seen countless Sea Anemones, Urchins, Starfish, a few Moon jellyfish and plenty of our inquisitive seal friends. However, most excitingly while out coasteering with Belhaven Hill School pupils yesterday we saw a Minke Whale off of Dunbar! Paddle boarding in East Lothian can often be at the mercy of the wind. Even during the summer months we will often experience the wind whipping along our coastline, creating an unsuitable learning environment for beginner paddlers.
Luckily, here at Ocean Vertical, when the wind is blowing a hoolie on the coast, we can retreat inland to our private and peaceful loch. Tucked away in the hills just minutes from our base in Dunbar - it's the perfect learning environment for beginners.
