Thankfully I haven’t had any passengers travelling from Manchester today, but my colleagues have been working round the clock to help their affected customers.

For different reasons, Birmingham is also suffering long delays in getting passengers through security this month, so be sure to leave in plenty of time, have water with you and be prepared for some additional queuing.

An investigation will be held after flights from Terminals 1 and 2 were cancelled after a power cut.

This morning I was lucky enough to visit one of the Maui motorhomes, with Premier Holidays, perfect for exploring New Zealand and Australia on your adventures down under.

You can wild camp more easily there than here, or stop at one of many official sites to hook up the electrics. This one is an older model suitable for two adults and a child - or third small adult (out in NZ and Oz you’ll get a newer and more updated motorhome) but it gives an idea of the facilities on board.
