Last-minute nerves are bubbling, final kit prep is underway and travel arrangements are being made. We hope you're all as excited for the Summer Spine as we are.

I’ve never been a gardener, so I’m feeling pretty proud of myself this morning. Some old railway sleepers, a tonne of gravel, some bunny proof plants and a wee water feature. 👌🏻🤩
Only another few acres to do but it’s a good start. Grass done as well ✔️

Just as well lovely Escentric gave me some bath salts or I may not be able to move tomorrow 🤣🤣

Spring is in the air. House ready for our lovely guests. Grass cut. The large garden is still a work in progress but it’s wonderful seeing all the existing plants appear and the blossom on this tree is just gorgeous. 🥰

Well it’s been a little wet here today at Audrey’s!! However that doesn’t stop our guests from enjoying their stay, with plenty board games, 2 smart TV’s, WIFI and a brand new heating system, there’s nothing much more you need for a relaxing, cosy day in!! 🥰

There is so much do to and see in our local area we are so lucky, and we will always share local events and discoveries with our guests.

We have had a couple of questions about bringing family and caravans and can highly recommend Kirkfield Caravan Park which is a five minute walk from us.

Another family ran business with a super team and of course they can keep you filled up and safe for your trip as well with the other half of the family business Frank Gibson garage.

Another rainy day in Yetholm, lots of signs of spring appearing though. At Audrey’s cottage you can take a walk along the river bank and head to The Plough Hotel for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Dog friendly and pool table for those wet afternoons. A lovely, friendly local pub, managed by the wonderful Lynsey Suzanne Morrison and her fantastic team of staff.
