Rhayader Carnival Date: 16th -23 July 20, 2024

Rhayader Carnival is a highlight of the Rhayader summer, bringing the entire community together for a week of fun and festivities.
The carnival includes a lively parade through the town, live music, performances, and a variety of stalls and activities.
• Highlights: Grand parade, live entertainment, games, and local food vendors. • Location: Various locations around Rhayader.

Brecon Choir Festival Dates: July 18 - 21, 2024

For those who adore choral music, the Brecon Choir Festival is a must-attend event. This festival features a series of concerts and workshops held in the historic town of Brecon. Choirs from around Wales and beyond come together to perform a wide repertoire, from classical pieces to contemporary works.

Great news! The Events Project will be attending the Royal Welsh Show this year. We know it can be difficult for organisers to attend to promote their events so we’d love to do it on your behalf.

We are really keen to catch-up with event organisers more regularly to discuss how the events project can help you and discuss any issues you may have.

We are introducing a Monday lunchtime online drop-in session via Teams. Starting Monday 1st July we welcome any of your team to join us anytime between 1-2pm.

Why not visit our marquee at the Maldwyn 2024 Urdd Eisteddfod!

We have daily activities including:

• Chwarter Chwysu – 15min exercise class
• Reading corner with children’s book library
• Facepainting and badge making
• Jumbo games
• Colouring in
• Craft activities

You’ll find us near the main entrance.
