We have been busy behind the scenes and are so pleased to finally introduce our cabin, Leo’s Lookout 🛁

Welcome to the largest lookout yet, nestled in a secluded corner here at Trelan Farm. The gorgeous new addition offers all the luxuries we know our guests love from Lil’s & Luna’s but with even more room to relax and unwind.

Complete with a Japanese Deep Soaking tub, (what else!?), from your private deck you can enjoy uninterrupted, far-stretching views of the countryside—perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life.

We’ve had lots of new followers recently so thought it’s about time we reintroduce ourselves!

We, Wynne & Catherine, are the third generation farmers here at Trelan Farm. We live on the farm with our three children, Bets, Iori & Ani and Wynne’s parents, Emyr & Sandra.

The farm has been farmed by our family for over 75 years and over the years has seen many changes, oh if the old stone walls could talk they would tell quite the story.

We’ve been a bit quiet on social media as we’ve been busy in the background with a very exciting new project, all will be revealed soon 🤫 👀

When staying at Trelan Farm, guests can now enjoy a bottle of Vale Vineyard’s Sparkling Rose wine, voted recently as best Sparkling Rose in Wales, delivered free to the cabin directly from their cellar door - trust us when we say its delicious 🥂

You can purchase your bottle directly from the Vineyard website (https://valevineyard.co.uk/products/sparkling-rose-wine) and pop in the booking notes your stay dates and booking reference or alternatively pop us an email and we can put you in touch with Gwen & the team.

With the sun *finally* making an appearance it would be rude not to.

Each of Trelan Farm’s bespoke cabins come with its own bbq, fully stocked with charcoal & firelighters for you to enjoy during your stay.

Forgot the food? Our local shops, .ss & , are fully stocked with local meats, bakery goods and much more.

✨🌿 What is a Japanese soaking tub? One of our most asked questions.. ✨🌿

Here at Trelan Farm, we believe in offering you a serene and luxurious experience that goes beyond the ordinary. That’s why our two Lookouts offer Japanese Soaking tubs as an alternative to traditional hot tubs. The baths seat two people, have whirlpool jets & led lighting.

These deep tubs, known as “ofuro” in Japan, are designed for pure relaxation. Unlike regular hot tubs, ofuros are meant for a tranquil, seated soak that soothes the mind and body.

Where is Trelan Farm?

Trelan Farm is on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Cilcain, North Wales. We are only one hour away from Manchester & Liverpool but here in the foothills of Moel Famau you’ll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Is there are BBQ?

Yes complete with charcoal and firelighters, BBQs are available for guests to use all year around. Let’s just hope for some BBQ weather!

How far away is the nearest pub?

We are lucky enough to have some fantastic eateries on our door step (check out our blog on our website for more!) is within walking distance and serves amazing food, watch out for their special theme nights (it gets busy so we recommend booking to avoid disappointment).

We don’t have a car, can we visit you with public transport?

Yes of course, many of our guests do so. Our nearest major train stations are Wrexham and Chester. We have a bus which does come to the village (Cilcain) and many of our guests use taxis. Please let us know if you’d like us to recommend a few.

Do I need to bring towels & linen?

Nope! Towels, bed linen and fluffy robes are provided for all guests. 🧺

Can I bring my dog?

As much we love them, Trelan Farm is a pet free retreat, mainly as you will be sharing a field with our cows and sheep who are not used to dogs. 🐶

Which cabin is best for me?

We love all of the cabins equally - it wouldn’t be possible to have a favourite! The Lookouts are very similar bar a few interior differences. All three cabins are very private. The Lookouts have the deep whirlpool bath baths (which seat two) undercover and the Wonder Wagon is slightly larger with a bath under the stars. All cabins sleep two guests only. 🛀🏾

Can I bring children ?

Trelan Farm is strictly adults only. Our cabins are designed with adults in mind - get the babysitter booked! Having three little ones ourself we appreciate it’s not easy to get away so we do offer one night stays Sunday - Thursday. ✨

Our environment has and will always be so important to us at Trelan Farm 🌱 We’ve worked with @northwaleswildlifetrust to plant over 2000 trees over the past couple of months! The trees will grow into a new coppice woodland area to provide a new habitat for all types of wildlife 🐦 🐝 🦋 🌸 A HUGE thank you to North Wales Wildlife Trust for all of their help 🐾
