The Blue Pool is just over 2 miles from Broadmead, a beautiful nature reserve and tearooms with over 30 acres of paths and walkways to explore. Currently they have their spectacular annual event - ILLUMINATE - so we went to check it out last night and it was truly amazing !

Our local village pub - The New Inn - is situated just a few minutes away from Broadmead in our village of Church Knowle. It is a village inn run by Matthew Estop, his wife Zeta, Maurice and the team.
The New Inn serves classic British food with a modern twist, fresh local seafood and scrumptious deserts !
The Inn was originally part of a 16th century working farm and is full of olde world charm and character, with lovely inglenook fire places and a brick alcove that used to be the original farm house kitchen oven. Records of licensees date back to the 1881 British census and the Estop name is only the 4th name on the license in 160 years !
Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and a truly beautiful pub overlooking the Church Knowle Valley and surrounding Purbeck Hills.
