Having had a shorter than normal season due to Covid, I decided to transcribe entries from visitor book for 2021 .
I love to read all the various activities our guests find in Cowal. Also I am delighted that visitors enjoy their time in Pebbles so much. Thank you for all the lovely comments - very much appreciated.

We have had a beautiful week, great weather 22degrees and similar. So nice walks. Superb Pucks Glen, gorges and waterfalls, beautiful Benmore Botanic gardens and Kilmun Arboretum. Full of history St Mun’s Church with water mechanical organ and many great views. Beinn Ime, Beinn Mhor , amazing sunrises on the pier. Thank you Jean! We were so amazed we want to come back.

Had a brilliant weeks rest. Weather was perfect. The house was perfect and we really enjoyed our stay here –will be back! The fishing at the pier is excellent and the host went out of their way to give me a fishing rod to borrow which was amazing, thanks again, see you again soon.

What an extremely beautiful place. We have had such a lovely stay at Pebbles Shore. We have managed to fit so much in in just 6 days. The Botanical gardens, Puck’s Glen which I will say is possibly the most gorgeous walk I have ever been on. My daughter even said she had seen “Poca Ban” ha ha !We also visited Rothesay, Inverary Castle and Oban. We also met the local seal. The house has everything you could need and I genuinely don’t want to go home—none of us do. Thank you so much for such a peaceful sunny week. PS we can’t wait to come back.

This was our first stay here at Pebbles Shore. We loved our time here. We enjoyed one of our new activities, using our paddle board on Loch Eck! We made a rope swing at Loch Eck as well. We went to the swimming pool at Hunter’s Quay—great for kids then we took a drive to Portavadie. Had a great time thank you.

Thanks for enabling such a comfortable stay with the most amazing view to start the day. We have travelled all over—highlights being Benmore Gardens and the outdoor pool at Gourock. It’s been a pleasure to return such a cosy home—now up to the Highlands. With best wishes.

Our fourth stay in the last five years. Once again the perfect place for us, my 93 year old mother and me. It is so nice to have a “home” to come back to on the shore. We will treasure our time here as we head back to the States and very much hope to be back again before too long.

This was my 7th stay at Pebbles and we really had a wonderful family holiday with visitors from Turiff, ???? And West Kilbride. The weather was super and we managed to swim in the sea (without wetsuits) 3 times. Visited Benmore gardens and walked along Glen Massan. Thanks again Jean and Graham for letting us stay in this lovely place. NB Dad caught 42 mackerel
Sept-Oct
We really enjoyed the view from the window. We saw the cruise and cargo ships, which kept us entertained. On our penultimate night a pod of porpoises were swimming directly in front of the house! It has been a great location for exploring the local area. Thanks for a Covid safe stay.
