As a belated birthday present my friend took me to a part of Ireland, I'd never been before, and I've covered a lot of it with dog shows. We forget what beauty in on our doorstep.
We stopped for breakfast just outside Carlingford, to 'Strandford' farm which was amazing, totally vegetarian (so not me) but I highly recommend, there's some beautiful shops including clothes boutique, houseware and flowers.
We stayed in the stunning 'Fitzpatrick Castle' went up Killiney hill, there are countless fabulous restaurants and bars, amazing views and beaches.
What idiot (me) forgets to bring a days clothes? So the 'minimal' packer of the 2 of us, had to borrow from the one who packs enough for a week and every eventuality.
We then went to Powerscourt, voted the 3rd most beautiful garden in the world. So peaceful. With stunning hotel, golf course, garden center and the largest Avoca in Ireland
Obviously this amazing weather helped too

Flights are from London Heathrow and depart on 22 November 2024 for 10 nights (plus one night on the flight in each direction) and include meet at greet at Cape Town airport, private car transfers throughout, internal flight from Cape Town to Durban, and a 12-minute helicopter ride around the Cape Town Peninsula.
