With proud thanksgiving, a mother for her children,
England mourns for her dead across the sea.
Flesh of her flesh they were, spirit of her spirit,
Fallen in the cause of the free.

Solemn the drums thrill: Death august and royal
Sings sorrow up into immortal spheres.

They went with songs to the battle, they were young,

We've just had a genuine cancellation in both of our Little Houses in Whitby - what are the odds of that (pretty high as it's turned out, as they'd been booked by same set of guests 😢).

That means that we now have 7-14 April (7 nights) available in both Houses.

The price for the week in either House is £740 + £50 refundable security deposit.

URGENT - URGENT - URGENT - URGENT - URGENT - URGENT

It's been brought to our attention that, after a recent Google update affecting Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, an important section of our booking form stopped working, meaning that the booking form could not be submitted.

We've now updated our booking form to make sure that it's back up and running again. Hopefully Google will also take this issue seriously and get this error fixed soon too.

Huge apologies to anyone who have tried to book in the past 24 hours.

Whitby? In Winter? Are you mad?

No, we’re definitely not mad! Whitby in the cooler, Winter months is absolutely fantastic!

It’s much quieter, more chilled out, the restaurants & cafes are easier to get a table in and the pubs have theirs fires lit! 🥰🤩😍

It’s, personally, our favourite time to stay too and we’ve got our dates booked in!

We do still have some availability in our two beautiful Houses though, so you can come and experience all that this glorious Town has to offer for yourself.
