Lots of people get stuck in the crowds at Buckingham Palace to see Changing of the Guards. You can avoid that by going to St James Palace which is actually the more important palace.

My lovely tourists today were on a 3 hour London tour and got this great spot.

These guards are coming from Buckingham Palace to St James Palace where they will be a short ceremony and then in a few minutes other soldiers will march out in the other direction.

The guards are real soldiers, they do all this kind of stuff AND modern training and warfare.

Our Secret Gardens of the Ciry of London has been rated the most authentic London experience by Viator/Trip Advisor and Inspired my #1 travel book of the same name.

This is just one of the gardens, a beautiful ruined church that was damaged in the Blitz and becoming an increasingly popular location for tv shows and films.

In the heart of London and we didn’t see a single other tourist in 3.5 hours.

Yesterday I gave a pub tour to a wonderful lady from Wisconsin, USA. Here we are in a pub that was once notorious for people being enticed inside with drinks and then they would be killed, their bodies dropped into the cellars and then taken away to the nearby hospital to be illegally sold for dissection and medical research.

Not sure what happened to the second person who was on the tour :-)

Keep an eye out for lovely Seamus, an Irish Wolfhound and the regimental mascot.

The last day or two we’ve done a Great Crimes and Punishment tour and a Historic Pubs Tour. One for a London family and the other from much farther away.

It’s always great to get such good feedback and with Covid restrictions ending in the U.K we hope you’ll spend your ne t holiday with us.

Besides, our private tours are well away from the crowds so it as safe as possible.

After a dismal 2 years, a small flurry of bookings came in for Christmas time.

Everyone rated 5 stars despite the obvious problems.

All our tours are private. Forget those lame mass-market big group/bus tours.

You wouldn't expect to see everything in Cairo, Jerusalem or Mumbai on a bus tour so why come to 2,000 year old London which is full of lanes and alleys and squares that don't even have road access.

Also you don't have to worry about catching anything nasty in 1-1 or private family tours.

We are also independently Green certified so a day out with us needn't cost the Earth!

It's Halloween weekend and what could be more fitting than an autumnal walk through some of the creepier parts of the East-End of London and a few seedy places south of the river too.
