Built in 1765, this imposing country house is offered in its entirety for self-catering holidays. Sleeping twenty-two (plus

two babies) in eleven bedrooms, it makes an ideal choice for a gathering of family and friends, or work colleagues. WHAT TO DO IN THE AREA

The Lochaber area is known as the “outdoor capital of the Highlands”, due to the geography of this region and has become a huge hit for mountain bikers, climbers, canoeists and walkers. The Nevis Range Mountain resort is a year round experience and has ski and snowboarding, high wire experiences, forest walks, mountain climbing, mountain biking tracks, family cycling tracks, and paragliding. For those wishing to fish, loch and sea fishing is available. Fort William has many shops and restaurants, as well as the Ben Nevis Distillery and for golfers there is an excellent 18-hole golf course. The area is also rich in historical sites, with the Commando Monument nearby and superb tourist day trips for your group to arrange to Glenfinnan, Arisaig, Oban, Loch Ness and Caledonian Canal. As well as island trips to the islands of Mull, Coll and Iona.
