SO... This has come around much quicker than expected. This time next week, I'll be in Peru getting ready to tackle the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I'm self-funding this trip so every penny raised will be going to these 2 incredible charities.

If you're able to make a contribution, no matter how big or small, it will make a huge difference to an incredible cause.

Thank you.

Pink Ribbon Foundation
The Pink Ribbon Foundation is a grant making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, have been affected by breast cancer, or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment.

There are a large number of such charities in the UK, each as deserving as the next. Many of the charities supported are the smaller ones, which operate on a shoestring. The Pink Ribbon Foundation has very little infrastructure. It relies on the hard work given by Trustees, interested parties and its Patrons. This is done in order to maximise the amount, which goes to the charities that benefit from the funds raised.

Simon on the Streets
Simon on the Street offers unlimited emotional and practical support for homeless and vulnerable people to enable them to achieve their goals.

All our services are delivered on an outreach basis directly on the streets. We deliver our outreach during the day but also in the evening and in the early hours of the morning when many of the most vulnerable are struggling. We want to support an individual to achieve their own goals and aspirations whatever they may be.

📢 BIG News and I’m VERY excited✨
One of the BIGGEST names in breakfast TV joins one of the biggest names in travel.

I’m very excited to announce that Eamonn Holmes is joining us at Not Just Travel to help champion the value of booking through a personal Travel Consultant just like me.

Eamonn shot to fame as the anchor of breakfast TV shows including Sky and GMTV. Of course we also love him for his work presenting ITV’s This Morning. AND, don’t forget Eamonn was a huge hit on BBC 1’s Holiday programme and Channel 5’s “How the Other Half Lives”.

Over the coming weeks and months you’re going to see Eamonn supporting us across many of our world-wide trips and cruises and becoming a very familiar voice on our hugely successful travel podcast.

Commenting on the announcement Eamonn said: “What I love the most about Not Just Travel and The Travel Franchise is the passion everybody has – not just for travel, but for helping others and I really want to be a part of this.”

I can’t wait to share even more with you!

On this day, 5 years ago, I was sat in a room in Bournemouth about to start my Travel Business, and a MASSIVE THANK YOU to everyone who has booked with me in that time. It’s been an interesting 5 years, not going to lie, some personal difficulties, and it has to be said that Covid thing and the associated lockdowns was a bit of a nuisance for a fledgling travel company.
Past couple of years, ship has come back on course, and 2 of the last 3 months have been record months for me!

This past January has been hectic, as Peaks always is, and I’ve helped people book some amazing holidays to (to name but a few)
Caribbean cruise
Mexico
Mauritius
Thailand
Various USA
Poland
Ski/snowboarding holidays
Spanish islands
Australia
…And Manchester! (Work trip obvs)

Now please can I ask a favour? To take my business to the next level, please could you share my business page with your friends, family, co workers, business associates… pretty much everyone you know really as this will help to raise my profile and share what I do.

All you need to do is go onto my travel page https://www.facebook.com/NJTMarkSkedd/ and click on the 3 horizontal dots on the right hand side and select ‘invite friends’ 👍🏻❤️

Thank you so much in advance, as all my self-employed friends will know, exposure and personal recommendations mean so much to every small business.

Have a great Sunday! 🙏

Truly everything you could want from a land-based holiday, with the bonus of a different view every day. Just over a year ago, I thought “nope, cruise is not for me”. I’ve been on 5 since then, safe to say I’m a convert, and I’ve encouraged others along with me.

From Virgin voyages incredible Adults only offering to an A-Rosa river cruise down the Rhine at Christmas; NCLs breathtaking Prima to the fantastic Fjords access afforded by Fred Olsen’s smaller ships, if you’re cruise-curious, get in touch and let’s see what suits.

I had Maguluf (insert your own version) in mind when I thought of Palma, but goes to show how wrong your preconceptions can be. What a gorgeous city, and cycling there was a Brucey too. €7 for bike hire for 24hrs, much better than a bus or taxi, and a (very small) bit of counteracting the All Inclusive! 🚴‍♂️🍻🤷🏻‍♂️

Active day today, nice little cycle along the coast to Palma.
